Founder & CEO
Jestina L. Segbee
Jestina is a dedicated advocate with a lifelong commitment to humanitarian causes. Hailing from Liberia, her advocacy journey began in childhood, serving as a voice for children in various capacities. Notably, she held leadership roles in the Bong County Children’s Parliament and later at the national level as Secretary General of the Liberian Children’s Parliament's now Liberian National Children’s Representative Forum.
Her advocacy efforts extended globally when she represented Liberia at the WorldWeWant conference in Bonn, Germany, in 2014. This experience not only broadened her perspective but also facilitated valuable connections, enhancing her ability to empower children in Liberia.
Jestina holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead, with a minor in Psychology. Currently, she serves as a refugee resettlement coach, tirelessly advocating for her clients' access to essential resources.
Passionate about championing the rights of women, adolescents, and children, Jestina channels her energy LUV, leveraging her expertise and compassion to effect positive change and transform lives in Liberia.

Sierra Mcfaline
Board Chair
Sierra Mcfaline is a licensed social worker, having earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Concordia College, Moorhead, and her master’s degree from Boise State University, Idaho. Currently, she serves as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker at a local Community Action Agency, where she supervises staff in the Housing Division, focusing on preventing and ending homelessness.
Through her work, Sierra has gained insight into local homeless prevention efforts, igniting her passion for helping families maintain their housing. Over the past 7 years, she has built numerous connections with partners in the area.
Through her role at Community Action, Sierra has developed a holistic approach to helping people and hopes to expand her impact by assisting individuals in various other ways.
Nathaniel Zinah Cooper
Board Member/Strategy Advisor
Nathaniel Zinah Cooper is a dedicated cybersecurity expert, social entrepreneur, and youth leader. He currently serves as a Cybersecurity Systems Analyst for a global company, where he helps protect digital landscapes and safeguard users’ data.
Outside of his professional role, Nathaniel is deeply passionate about creating opportunities for youth and women in Liberia through his work with the non-profit organization YOPTI and other ventures. He is also known for mentoring and coaching youth in the United States, while advocating for social change and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives through his company, Black Business Resource Group (BLK Catalyst).
Nathaniel holds an M.S in Cybersecurity from Kennesaw State University and a B.A in Computer Science and Business Administration from Lakeland University.
Dominic M. S. Massaquoi
Executive Director, Liberia
Dominic M. S. Massaquoi holds an LLB from The Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, University of Liberia, an MA in Political Science-International Relations, and a BA in Sociology and Public Administration from the University of Liberia.
With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in counseling, project management, and community-based advocacy. His roles have spanned from teaching to managing career development, notably with the National Commission on Disarmament, Demobilization, Rehabilitation, and Reintegration, and the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
Currently an Attorney at Law at Weah and Associates Law Offices, he represents clients, offers legal services, and conducts legal research.
